2 नित्यप्रार््थिराश्लोकराः - Nitya-prārthanā-ślokāḥ

Before brushing the teeth

आयुर्ल यर्लो वर््थः प्जराः पशुवसूनि र् ।
ब्रह्मप्ज्ञञां र् मधाञां र् त् िलो दरेहि विस्पत ॥ ३ ॥

āyurbalaṃ yaśo varcaḥ prajāḥ paśuvasūni ca ।

brahmaprajñāṃ ca medhāṃ ca tvaṃ no dehi vanaspate

Oh forest tree ! Grant us long life, strength, fame,

vigour, offspring, cattle, wealth, knowledge of Brahman

and wisdom. (3)

मुखदुगन्धिरार्राय दन्रािञां र् ववशुद्धय ।
रे
ष्ष्मविराय र् गरात्राणाञां कववेऽि दन्धाराविम् ॥ ४ ॥

mukhadurgandhanāśāya dantānāṃ ca viśuddhaye ।

ṣṭhīvanāya ca gātrāṇāṃ kurve'haṃ dantadhāvanam

I brush my teeth for removing bad odour of the mouth,

cleanliness of teeth and cleansing the mouth. (4)
